yes you as for gifts the person gets a bonus and sends you respect or disrespect not sure what the respect level does yet likely connected with the new chop shop both showed up at the same time

btw, I don't even waste my requests with gifts.....I have not gotten one I can use yet from this new set....tiger tank and chariot were good from the old ones, but otherwise its a buncha junk....I quit after level 3

level 4 almost 5 and i gave up cause the stupid popup menu to send for respect gifts no longer work half the time on mine.. pretty lame of zynga..it was workin fine until they made all the new changes.. :-/

After you get the Ghillie suit when you get to level 7 there is no more special loot dropped for leveling up. Most gift items are marginal. You do get the XP or Energy for sending gifts so that works out.

A lot depends on your level. Some of these items will help, some won't. Work to get to the Ghillie suit then do what you want after that.
